I was just curious if anyone collected anything other than LPS. I know I love to collect things and I've had numerous collections through the years and have a few currently too. In addition to littlest pet shop I collect Madame Alexander and Helen Kish Dolls. My collection of them is quite small compared to Littlest Pet Shop. I have about 9 compared to 250+ pet shops. I also collect the Disney Precious Moments, which I only have 2 off, but I have a total of 7 precious moments (including the 2 Disney) which I've received as gifts over the years. I also have a collection of ALIAS trading cards, it was my absolute favorite show when it was on. I don't update the collection anymore, but I don't think I'll ever sell what I have, they remind me of the show and how much I miss it! Those are my current collections, but I used to collect alot of things when I was younger as well. I collected Beanie Babies (I literally have of tons of them. I'm listing them in lots on ebay, except for the special ones that I chose to keep). I collected My Little Pony for awhile, but I'm going to be listing that entire collection on ebay little by little as well. I have about 6 on there now. I also collected Pokemon cards for awhile, from about age 10 until I was about 13. Whew...lol..I think thats it! Here are some pics of my doll collection: These are my madame alexander's/ They are 8" This is my Helen Kish Designed Girl of Many Lands-England Doll /She's 9" This is Tulah by Helen Kish/ She's 7.5". Right now she is in Barbie Doll clothes while she waits for her outfit that my grandma is sewing for her. I bought her nude, but I didn't want her just sitting in the box, so barbie doll clothes it is! And now for my absolute favorite! Riley Kish! She's 7.5" and I just think she is so adorable! I love her to death!

I love precious moments, but I don't have any. I have done some cross-stitch pics of them though. I used to collect beanie babies also, and still have most of them because I don't know what to do with them. I have a lot care bears, and I collect practically anything eeyore.

My childhood collections: American Girls dolls, some comic books (Robin was my favorite, I had every one!), Babysitters Club (including the dolls!) and beanie babies -- most of which I have since sold off. My favorite collection was a HUGE array of Sailor Moon items I'd collected in my junior high school days, I sold that when I was in college and regret it now. In college I collected designer purses and memorabilia for my sorority.
Now, I don't really collect anything for myself, but I do actively collect the LPS for Bella, as well as the Disney Princess plush dolls, and Play Town figures. She also has a HUGE movie collection, mostly VHS tapes (since she can put them in on her own without damaging/scratching them!) that takes up a large shelf in our living room -- every Elmo, Strawberry Shortcake, and almost all the Disney .

I love disney movies too! I would have to say may favorites are Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. I remember going to see Beauty and the Beast in Theaters with My aunt 4 times! I was only 3 years old and I just couldn't get enough of that movie! And I remember being in my living room singing "Part of Your World" from the little mermaid as I watched the tape. I couldn't have been more than 2. I was definitely a Disney fanatic when I was little.

Those dolls are gorgeous, star. As for me, I try not to collect too much, b/c I'm a bit of a packrat and space is hard to come by. I tried collecting beanie babies for awhile, but I wasn't too serious about it. One collection I've been working on for years is pretty unusual... I collect the lids off Sobe drinks. They're the juice drinks in the glass bottles that have lizards on them; the caps all have saying on the inside that are pretty cute ("drain the lizard"; "think green"; etc.)...their website says there are over 200 different slogans! I don't have them organized in any real way, but I hang on to them anyway, lol. They look like this: I also collect plastic bead necklaces like those they throw at Mardi Gras. I grew up in Key West, FL, and every year around Halloween they have a rauncy version of Mardi Gras called Fantasy Fest. I've been going ever since I was real little (it wasn't NEARLY rauncy then, although it's terrible now), and have always tried to get as many beads as possible (no, not by flashing etc., lol). At any rate, I guess I tend to collect those... I really like the unique beads, such as those with dice on them or all heart beads. I also usually buy 1-2 special larger bead necklaces every year ... they've got larger beads and usually a big pendant at the bottom. I have a turtle, roses, and so so many I can't think of off the top of my head. They're really neat though. I think I have one similar to this one: Other than that, I guess I sort of collect Pigs, although not real actively... I usually just choose pigs when there's something I like that comes in different animal designs (key chains, baubles and the like).. I've also gotten quite a few piggies as gifts ever since people I know have realized that I like them. My most prized of them is probably a set of hand-blown glass salt & pepper shakers. They're really gorgeous. I do actually use them, although I considered not for awhile, lol. Here's a picture of what they look like (taken from website, I think it's the one they were ordered off of initially ) : I also thought about starting a salt & pepper collection, because there are some really cool ones around, but I haven't really started that yet.

I collect too much, I'm afraid. I've collected stuffed animals since I was a little kid. And I still have most of that collection and have added bunches more.
I also collect globes, seal figurines/stuff, lamb/sheep stuff, T-shirts, garden gnomes, Care Bears, tall sailing ship stuff...I think that's it.
It all leads to an overstuffed apartment. I had to start taking stuff to work and decorate my corner of the office with it. I have lots of gnomes at work.

My daughter collects lambs/sheep and LPS. She has my old Breyer horse collection. My husband used to collect fishing lures, but I sold them all on ebay to help him support his new collection of silver coins. All I seem to collect these days is dust ;-)

Love the Barbie, Laurie!! And that one Helen Kish doll with the Polar Bear is adorable -- Bella's favorite stuffed animal is a Polar Bear, so seeing that just instantly made me smile!
