starchaser I really like your dolls. I collect dolls too. I really like the smaller ones. Thanks! I like smaller dolls too, I don't know why but the larger dolls never appeal to me much. The largest doll I have is 9". What kind of dolls do you collect? Have you been collecting long? I actually haven't been collecting too long at all. During an ebay search one day I stumbled upon Madame Alexander Dolls and through that interest I discovered Helen Kish dolls. Which have now become my absolute favorite!

Ok, Freewebs is really irritating me. They seemed to have changed the way they do their editing, or something. I can't get the newest page I put on (the lamb/sheep page) to look like my previous pages. No matter what I try...I'm getting annoyed. But anyway, I am getting a few more pictures up here and there. I've added more of my stuffed animals, but I have more to add still. I've added some seals, some lambs, I'll be adding more gnomes tomorrow. www.freewebs.com/mrsvaldenEdit: Well, I just spent an hour and a half working on my page again, when I should've been sleeping (it's still only 6:24 am.) So I'm headed back to bed. I think. I just realized I have a few more collections...I collect Stewie from Family Guy stuff. And I used to collect Dallas Cowboys stuff, Elvis stuff and Gone With the Wind Stuff. So I still have all of those collections, it's just that most of that stuff is stored away right now. I'll have to take pictures of my Stewie stuff though. I've been a collector my whole life!

Do you still have your Cowboys collection? I'm an avid Cowboys fan (my dad is from Texas). I was born on Tom Landry's birthday, and I went to school with Tony Romo (never met him though, I was too busy in grad school with a new baby) I'm actually wearing a Cowboys shirt right now. My prize possesion growing up was a Tony Dorsett jesey that I wore for a week before my mother insisted upon washing it (I slid in a mud puddle to avoid a tackle). My daughter has a Cowboys uniform, sweatshirt, ball cap, and nerf football. I have various Cowboys attire, ink pens, Bob Lilly autographed mini helmet and a Tony Romo rookie card. My daughter makes me posters for every game. This tradition is passed on from my brother-in-law who is a huge Chicago bears fan who lives 30 minutes from Green Bay Wisconsin. Of course he watches the games in his stadium seats from Soldier field. I'm trying to figure out how to get a piece of old Texas stadium after this season. Of course my daughter and I want to go to the new one.

Star, I just PMed you... Found a McDonalds Madame Alexander doll (Daisy Munchkin - looks like the munchkin kids from Wizard of Oz - cutie!) when I went yard-saling today. Grabed her for real cheap if you want her (you don't have to pay- she's light enough to ship cheap anyway).

Hi Banderhouse!! Thanks for your daughter's compliments on my lamb collection. I should take pictures of my mom's. It's MASSIVE!! I try to keep it a minimum with my space issues and all. But Mom's got stuff all over their house.
And of course I still have my Cowboys stuff. I could never part with that stuff. That's been one of my oldest collections except for my stuffed animals. A lot of it is in storage totes right now. My prized possession is my life-sized cardboard cut-out of Troy Aikman. He's my favorite player of all-time. He was drafted the year I graduated high school (my prime watching years.)
I have 2 of his jerseys (home and away.) I used to have a Tony Dorsett jersey too when I was a kid!!! It's still in a drawer somewhere in my parents' house. I couldn't get rid of it even after I outgrew it. I have mugs, glasses, posters, pens, pins, pencils, calendars (I still get a desk calendar ever year for my desk at work.) I have the twin sized bedding set from when I was single (that's right...I was a 28 year old woman sleeping under a Cowboys comforter and sheets.) I still use the pillowcase as my pillowcase on our bed now. I had a plush football, keychains, sunglasses, T-shirts (3 that I still wear), sweatshirts (still fit in one.) I had a winter coat that I wore in college. Still have it, just don't wear it. I had a rain jacket...don't know where it is. Caps, gosh...I can't think of all the stuff.
I loved Tom Landry. Loved him. I love on King of the Hill that their school is called Tom Landry Middle School.
When I was babysitting my nephews today, my brother was watching the NFL draft right before walking out the door. He was not happy with their 1st round pick. I don't pay attention much until the season actually starts.
One of my student workers is now a grad student, but he went to Eastern for his undergrad. He met Tony a few times.
Isn't that strange that we're both from Illinois but are Cowboys fans? I am because my brother was, and I followed in his footsteps. I'm not sure why he chose them. Maybe because it was in the 70s. back in their heyday.
And we both like lambs. We are sooo cool!!!
And, by the way, I wore a Cowboys shirt to work on Friday.
Someday I'll pull out the totes and take some pictures of my Cowboys stuff. I think I have a picture of me with my Troy cardboard cutout somewhere. He's in the closet right now.

My prized possession is my life-sized cardboard cut-out of Troy Aikman. My Aunt is a Huge Dallas Cowboys fan too. One year for christmas my uncle (not her husband but my other aunt's husband) got her a Life Size Troy Aikman off of ebay. The whole day he joked with her that she had a special visitor waiting to come out and meet her in the back room. She almost cried when he brought him out to her! When I was about 4, which was 1992, she flew with my other aunt to Texas to watch them play the Redskins (which is my other aunt's favorite team). My aunt also has these 3 little dallas bears that she calls "The Troys" and she has a Troy Doll too and countless other Cowboys stuff. I think you and her would be like 2 peas in a pod! ;D

Hey Mrs. V, Tell your brother to check out the draft coverage on www.dallascowboys.com . I don't follow college football, but I'm actually pretty excited about the draft choices (still want a WR though). Tom Landry was my hero growing up. You could never tell by watching him whether the Cowboys were winning or loosing. I used to model his poker face because I thought it was so cool.
