Hi Lamb It's so true that all of these eventually will make their way to the stores. What has sold out that you wanted to pre-order? I think they might get more, seeing how popular it is.

You're right. I should keep checking. I wanted all of the postcard pets, but 2 are sold out. I have pre-ordered the case of 8 instead. It's not a bad deal, but I don't know that I need the extras. Maybe I'll leave the extras in those cute boxes they come in. I was also thinking about a few of the collectible pets specifically, but apparently, so was everyone else because they have sold out. I'm undecided about whether I want to pre-order the entire waves or not, especially because of those figure variations in them. Do I want the flamingo or the lion? Do I want the inchworm or the bat? I don't think I want to double order those waves, because I already have a lot of duplicates. But I may change my mind...

Also, I emailed the customer service rep, and she said they don't plan to offer those as separate preorders for the inchworm/bat wave.

It helps to know these things when making decisions about pre-ordering the entire wave. BBTS also has listed a Teeniest Tiniest Pet Shop Playset and Wave 1 of the Teeniest Tiniest On the Go Sets. The On the Go wave is a set of 3: Japanese Garden, Forest Adventure and Training School. Unfortunately, there aren't pictures for anything yet. I'm wondering if the Playset is just that pencil case, since I don't see the pencil case listed and the playset is $23.99.

Nope, that just helps make the Tiger and the Iguana more hard to find at retail stores . *kisses Hasbro*

I like the Tiniest sets and my daughter loves them! As for the playset at BBTS, I think it could be the first for the Teeniest Tiniest. We have the pencil case and it doesn't look much of a playset, more like waste of money ;D But all that can wait until they show up in stores. These sets are never hard to find and are always in abundance.

LOL. Leave it to Hasbro to include both a chase figure and a special edition pet in one case.
Just think, what if the chase pet is the fox. I'd love an artic fox. I'll be really upset if it's a small difference like the eye color of the puppies or the spots on the frog!
I hope that ordering multiple cases works in our favor.

The reason I went ahead and ordered the special edition bat off ebay was because the cardboard oval was holographic silver and not the standard blue-I wonder if this will signify a chase pet. Like I have said I will surely let everyone know when I receive it.

Well, I had the misfortune of NOT checking the forum yesterday so I missed out on all the excitement I also missed out on some of the pre-orders at BBTS that I would have placed if I'd been there in time. Oh well, I'm usually pretty lucky at finding things in stores anyhow. Now I am completely confused about the chase pet issue. Time will tell, of course... I too missed one day and look what happens I can't believe I missed the postcard pets.

I went ahead and pre-ordered the set of 8 from BBTS, since it actually wasn't that much more than a set of 5 would have been, if I'd been able to pre-order them individually. I think the 5 individual pets totaled about $43 and the set of 8 is $54. And there is still a good chance we'll be able to find them in stores. I just didn't want to take that chance, since I really like the postcard pets.
