Hi all! First off, we have some wonderfully talented customizers here, and I thank all of you for sharing your work, to whatever degree you are comfortable.
What I would like to address is the discussion of copying work and the commentary on work others have done.
Here's the policy:
1) IF you choose to post your work, please be very aware that it may be copied (whether you post it here or list it on ebay). This occurs in every custom board I've ever read. It's just a way of life.
2) Please do NOT post comments in threads about copies on ebay, copies on this board, copies ANYWHERE. These ideas cannot be copyrighted or protected in ANY way (as far as I know?). There is no reason to remark on the similarities between customs, and all it does is create drama where none needs to be created, or draw attention to a situation that should be ignored. Posts of this nature are considered spam.
3) Please only post constructive comments on people's artwork IF THEY ASK FOR IT. If someone does not specifically say something like "Tell me how I could make this better" then please either post positive comments or nothing at all. I realize this is kind of sugar-coated, but this is a family board, with young members (who are also expected to follow the rules), and that's how it's gonna be.
4) Please DO continue to post your lovely customs, to the degree to which you're comfortable. This is one of the most beautiful areas of the board, and you have all added some WONDERFUL eye candy.
5) As always, if anyone feels any post at all is inappropriate or snarky, please just PM a mod; replying in the thread just ends up exacerbating the situation
