As any of you who've seen my website of collections know, I love Garden Gnomes. I really, really love them. They make me smile.
Well, heads up for all you you...tomorrow (Saturday) is International Gnome Day. Hug a gnome if you have one. ;o)
I also just joined the World Wide Gnome Association. They have given me the gnome name of Willow. I am the 310th member of the group. Yippee!!!
I'll post some more gnome pictures later. I found a great site with great T-shirts.

I can always count on Boodie for great pictures!!! Thanks so much, sweet cheeks!! I love the picture of the yard with all the gnomes in it. That would soooo be my yard if I had one. The neighbors would hate me!!! There's a Gnome Reserve in North Devon, England. They have about 4 acres of woodland with gnomes spread out all over. I'd love to visit. I'm sure Richard would be down with that! They give you little red gnome hats to wear around when you are touring.

Well, in honor of International Gnome Day, I bought 2 more garden gnomes at Kmart last night. They had their lawn stuff on sale, so I was pleased. I'll have to take pictures of them and add to my site.
But then today, I felt bad. I went to Walgreen's for something quick. I happened to notice their garden gnomes and looked at them. Nothing that I really wanted. But I accidentally knocked one of the little guys off the shelf! He broke into 3 pieces!! I killed a gnome ON International Gnome Day!!! If the people in the World Wide Gnome Association knew, they'd probably revoke my membership!!
I took it up to the front, and I was going to pay for it, because, "you break it, you buy it." But the cashier just said not to worry about it and threw it away (it was only about $2.) But I wish I would've gone ahead and bought it and tried to glue it. That might've eased my conscience. Sorry little gnome...

Sorry little gnome... Who knows, Carol? Would if the gnome was jerk to all of the other gnomes, and you saved the rest by getting rid of him. Now you're known in the gnome world as a god. "All hail, our holy Carol!" I can hear them now!
