I've found this forum last month, and after seeing so many creative and original customs that I wanted, I decided to make one for myself. I didn't have many pets to work with (just 1 pig) so I chose to make a Pierrot, because I wanted to try and make something that I haven't seen done.

Wow! That is SO awesome! What a wonderful first custom! It definitely looks like you were much further along! Now I KNOW my first won't be nearly this awesome! You did such a GREAT job!! I really love the eyes, and the 'liner' if you will outside them- beautiful! You definitely have talent & should keep going with it! ;D

Thanks for the kind comments:) I'll definitely make more when I get some spare pets (not new ones) to work with. It 's lots of fun, and when it wasn't going well with some parts, I just kept on going, for eg. while painting I can see brushstrokes all over it, but since it was my first custom I decided to let it go and not try to fix it...

He turned out WONDEFULLY, though! We are always our own worst critics! I'll try to remember that when I make my first custom too... I'm so prone to getting frustrated with lack of success that I give up.. but hopefully I'll push through it! Lol.. I can't see any brush strokes from the picture, and I bet it's not noticable w/o lots of analyzing in person too! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I can't see any brush strokes from the picture, and I bet it's not noticable w/o lots of analyzing in person too! Most of the brush strokes smoothed out after brushing it with a little water while paint was still wet. I use acrylic paints and so when it's used straight from the tube, you can see the brush strokes, and thinning the paint with water made heaps of bubbles.
