Very creative indeed. I'm very impressed with the lionfish and walrus!

Those are all great! Some major remodeling (combining parts from different LPS) must have been done! They are very creative, especially making more exotic animals.

Those are cute! I'm amazed the koala is going for EIGHTY BUCKS... the pictures are so bad I'd be terrified of getting the thing and it having a crappy paint job. People are either crazy, or very brave!

They are cute, but I'd be scared with the picture quality also!

The best thing to use would be Apoxie Sculpt - but as they are not saying it could be polymer clay that was then baked (this would weaken the magnet's strength), or an air dry clay, but that would not be very durable. I never did get around to making apoxie lps animals because I went back to colledge - holidays are coming up soon though.

The koala looks like the dog from the picnic time pets. I don't own the set so I can't tell if it's had the head put on a different body or not, but the head is definitely that dog.
Ashes, you're right, it's clay! In another of her auctions she says it's Crayola air drying clay. Epoxies are definitely the way to go when modding plastics! Sculpey can be used and then boiled to prevent having to stick the critter in the oven, but epoxy is really amazing since it's sandable and everything. If you ever mod any with apoxie sculpt make sure you post them, I'd love to see. =3
She posted more today - a seal, a nice looking lemur made from the ferret, an anteater with such horrible photos I almost can't tell if it's cute or horrendous... XD I think the anteater is from the spaniel mold... if you look at her closed auctions she also did a very weird looking wooly mammoth from a puppy, and the mammoth still has puppy ears showing. Some of her choices are creative, and some are just... wow. It's cool that she puts so much thought and effort into them, though!

Ok...a better camera would help. Because it's so hard to see what it really looks like. I think the seal is cute, but I can't tell what color it even is.

I have sculted a few things in crayola air drying clay before - its really fun to play with but definately not the type of material for customs. It is very light and spongy but it can crumble, and is goes gooey again if it gets wet. I've used Apoxie sculpt quite a bit to make models, but I havent modofied any LPS yet. I've been considering it but if I was making animals for myself I would make them more realistic. I have thought I could do some custom LPS to sell, maybe on ebay, but because I'm in Australia I don't think there is really the market for much of that here - but I know there is in other countries like Americe - I just don't know if those people would be looking at the Auctions from other countries Does anyone know?
