Is there anyone on the forum here that can crop pictures for me? I don't have a program that will do this.

Hi fishcube, The one I use is a freeware program that is excellent. Do a google search for irfanview, or download it from a place like Cnet or download.com. It's really easy to use, and saves / opens all types of formats. You can resize, crop, add text, enhance the image... But all very simply. Good luck!

Thanks. Downloaded it, but seems I can only crop by putting in the dimensions. Not by taking off some of the top and bottom of a photo. Which is what I want to do. ??

When I cut selection...by taking off top and bottom portion. It just leaves black areas remaining.

Hm.... Try this:
Open the picture you want. Click with the mouse on one corner of where you want the cropped image to start and drag the cursor (without letting go of the button) to draw the "box" around the area you want to keep. Then, click on edit, crop selection from the top menu, or hit ctrl+y. Then, don't forget to save it. Does that work?
