Hey guys, i posted my first auction today, just in case anyone was interested in my listing:> =]cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-90-Littlest-Pet-Shop-Zoo-Horse-Pony-Animal-Lot_W0QQitemZ160190052822QQihZ006QQcategoryZ150925QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Closeups of some of most of the animals:ENDS ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2007! Starting bid is .99!!! =]Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. i know it's not one of the best listings, because of the contents, but i did try to take some exciting pictures. It would be great if you girls had any feedback; are there too many pictures, should i add anything such as the actions of each pet, etc etc also, i want to list another lot. i don't know if a sea animal lot would work this time around because it is flooded with those sets or if this is actually what people like to have this time around, if i should do a puppy or kitty lot, blah blah blah. and i'm also thinking of posting one incomplete rare set that hasn't been listed in the last couple of weeks under auction. hmmmm. let me know what you guys think. ;]

Nice! I see you are starting your selling adventures... I do not think it matters if you post your Seaworld sets now, even though there are a couple incomplete full sets listed currently. I might suggest though that you list them individually. I find they sell individually for a better price than if listed as a complete set. (Unless you list the full set with a BIN option.) (the shamu family, baby shamu and penguins usually sell for more individually and the dolly and walrus for less... Oftentimes I put the dolly, walrus and otter together.) Hope this is of some help perhaps! As for what sells, (most anything right now.) customized lots are even better though. (for ex. my puppy lot that sold recently.) What rare set do you have? Good luck!

Your pictures do all the descriptions for you so I wouldn't worry about adding any more descriptions! Good luck!

Yeah, I'm worried about the seaworld thing too, I am going to have to sell some too and seems like there's been a ton of them lately... the puppy/kitty lots seem to always sell, or I always seem to be losing them, haha. I like what you did with the photos though, cute Anyway, good luck with your auctions, I'll be venturing into that area soon too, would be nice to make a little $ back... My question is, what happens to selling after xmas? And if everyone expects it to go down, will everyone dump their LPS auctions onto ebay before xmas and cause the final prices to go down too low? Blah.

Thanks so much for all of the feedback, girls! =] i really do appreciate it. My guess is, which i am afraid of, is that prices will go down after christmas. i heard that things come in waves, but i really do not know. we should get some input from mouse and zuse, who have been watching ebay for a while. angelbear has also posted a valuable link on here somewhere. the best times to sell are before christmas and before tax season. and the best time to buy would i read was in the summer time, but there isn't as much items in the market i guess. hmmm.
Lifeliver, thanks so much for the feedback. do you think you can answer any more of the questions that we have? i think you have been selling for awhile and seem to be pretty successful as a seller.

I can tell you that you don't have to worry about prices going down after Christmas. I have been selling on eBay for 8 years now and Jan-April are better selling months or at least as good as December. People like to stay inside and spend money on the computer!!

I would have to agree with angelbear, sales still remain strong even after the holidays... it's those winter blues that create profit for online sales. of course around the holidays such as Valentine's Day and Easter is a good time to put on auctions.

So, this auction didn't end too well. ended at $12.50 =[ Anybody have any tips about how i could have made it better? i realize that the sets were incomplete? would it have made a difference if all or most of the sets were complete? was the shipping to high , is it cause i have never sold before? too much pictures slow down computer? blah blah blah. basically, i need an honest opinion of what would set you [or anyone else] back from bidding. i was ready to put up another auction, but decided to wait to see how the first one went. now i am considering doing a BIN. dunno. feedback would be great from both sellers and buyers. thanks guys! =]
