Great pictures, you two! SB, your daughter is adorable (as are you.) And RQ, I love the "I will eat you" look. I have that look anytime I'm around food. If I'm around people, I have the "Get away from me" look! I didn't see an LPS on your desk there. What's up? Although I don't have any at work either. I don't trust people. We have student assistants that like to mess with my stuff to be funny. Thanks for posting pics guys. I love to be able to put faces with names. Mrs. V Hehe! I DO have LPS at my desk--they were on my computer behind my head! I work in a small office, so I don't worry about them getting knicked.

I was busy scanning old pictures today. So I thought I'd share some of me through my school years. I like to call it "Evolution of a Geek." This was me before I was old enough for school, with my dearest stuffed animal, Ricky. Nice underwear, huh? Probably 1973 or 1974. Kindergarten (1976) Pretty purple. 2nd Grade (don't have 1st with me) Note the sty(s) on my eyes. That was the first indication I needed glasses. 3rd Grade (Now with the awesome glasses and strawberry shirt.) 4th Grade (Up to 1980 now, and I'm growing out my bangs. My least favorite picture, I think.) 5th Grade 6th Grade 7th Grade (I had to switch to metal framed glasses, because my plastic ones kept getting broken in basketball. Hated these glasses.) 8th Grade (1984) Don't have my freshman year with me--hated it too. Sophomore (I had a hair ribbon in every color under the sun. I wore one everyday. Super cool, huh?) Junior (Got contacts the summer before this year. Yay!) Senior (I had really big hair, you just can't see it because the pictures are so dark.) And lastly, my favorite picture from childhood. It was my one and only "Glamour Shot" in life. Probably in the 5th or 6th grade (1981 or 1982.) My best friend and I had gone swimming that day, spent the night at my house, and she did my hair. Ah, what a torturous walk down memory lane. ;D Mrs. V (Carol)

I have red eye shadow...admittedly not fire engine red...but it's still red. I think I've seen that red at Hot Topic. Why would it be illegal? Mrs V--I think it's interesting how your hair went from blonde to brown in like, one year. My mom's did that too!

the head cosmetician at my work said she asked revlon and loreal reps at a meeting they had, about it (cuz of me) and they said can't make a 'true' red eyeshadow for some reason unknown. Supposedly the "reds" in lipstick, lip liner, etc..isn't 'true'
I don't know....but i did see it on the hot topic website, i got it off ebay.

Mrs V--I think it's interesting how your hair went from blonde to brown in like, one year. My mom's did that too! Yeah, I really miss my blonde hair. I loved it. I color mine now, because of trying to hide my gray, and I color it just slightly lighter than my normal color (which is dirty pukey blondey brown crap.) I would love to go blonde again, but don't want to have to maintain it. My mom and brother both started out really blonde too, but they both went brown before me. It was about high school that I really couldn't say I was blonde anymore. Mrs. V (Carol)
