Hi everyone! My name is Kristi and I'm a 19 year old college student who attends New York University. I'm double majoring in Childhood Education and Psychology and plan to get a graduate degree in Psychology. Right now I'm on the fence about whether to be a Teacher or a Child Psychologist. They both appeal to me, so we'll see!! Anyway, I've been interested in littlest pet shop since I was about 4 years old. I fell in love with the Beethoven's 2nd series while at Toys R Us. I used to carry the little Dolly puppy around with me everywhere! I still have all of my G1 pets and accessories, but when I got older and the G2's came out I began to seriously collect them. Currently I have about 250 pets in my collection and it has recently been growing steadily! I should really thank ebay for that, its very addicting and a great past time since I'm out of school for the summer now!
Thanks for reading my ramblings! I tend to do that!
I can't wait to get to know everyone!! ~Kristi

Welcome Kristi! I was a psychology/social work major at University of Iowa a few years ago, haha! Fun stuff, good luck with what you choose to do! And the G2s definitely multiply.... our collection has tripled since joining the board! My daughter also has all the available VIPs, too.... it's addictive! And I remember my brother having the LPS Beethoven sets, most distinctively the one with the lambchop in his mouth, haha! I ramble all the time, too, so don't feel bad! Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Lots of us like to ramble!! ;D Great to have you with us!!
I only started collecting LPS in January of 2007. I have between 350 and 400 G2s now, and a few sets of the G1s.
The lambs are my favorite pets, but there are quite a few that I really like.
Welcome!!

Welcome Kristi. I teach Business, Math and Computer courses for a couple of community colleges and do some training for business and industry. What level are you thinking about teaching? I'm actually specializing in grades 1-6. During the school year I worked with a second grade class in the Tribeca section of New York City through NYU America Reads and I loved it!

My daughter is in second grade. I'm the room mom for her class so I get to go on field trips with them and attend their parties. It's a fun age. I gave them all Chinese finger traps in their Christmas goody bags and stood back and laughed when the entire class was cuffed. Their poor teacher (first year out of college) would barely get one undone when ten more kids would get their fingers caught.

Thats sounds like so much fun! I love class parties. I remember when my mom was room mom for me, she would bring in all these games at class parties and my grandma (who likes to do crafts) would make all this stuff for me to give out in school. Good times! Its one of the things that I look forward to most when I become a teacher, its something that is so unique to the job.

Hi! You're not interested in expanding your G1 collection? Like you I was a G1 fan when I was little and then began collecting again when they released the G2 pets but I amk also trying to complete my G1 collection. I was thinking about expanding it, but right now most of my G1s are actually stored down the basement, except for a few ultra special ones that I have in my room. So, maybe eventually I'll want to complete it, but for right now I'm focusing on the G2s. You did spark my interest in my G1s again though, maybe I'll go down the basement and dig them up and see what I have. I'm still not sure If I want to collect G1s again though.
