Hallo everybody, my name is Federico, an Italian living in Argentina and I am Renata’s daddy. Renata Giulia is a lovely 3 years old baby. Recently we discovered the littlest pet shop world and both (well the three of us, including my wife) are enthusiast about these little funny animals. I find LPS entertaining and educative because when I play with my sweet daughter I can use their little world and my fantasy to create situations that always have something related with her days and habits. Her fantasy is stimulated and she learns to play actively. When I saw them in the toys shop shelves I was attracted from their sweet aspect. As an industrial designer, I found that Hasbro did a really good job. Of course I tend to separate all small part and to integrate them only when I am there supervising or playing with Renata.
I decided to register in this forum because I’d like to share some picture I made and because I guess that in future I’ll need some tips for LPS maintenance. Renata is quite gentle with them but still they got little scratches. For example my favorite one, the bull terrier of the “totally talented set” get a violet mark on the nose. Being a bull terrier and thanks to his serious hat, I start to call him “Mr. Dog” and I make him speak with a kind of English accent when I play with Renata. So I’ll have to find a way to clean his face because an English genteldog use to be always perfect, hehe.

Do you have many choice in Argentina? Because here, there's no dealer for them at this moment.

Dear Bibi, there is not a good choice in general and the prices are really really high, this is common for all imported and not-much-diffuse products. Fortunately my brother live in USA and my parents travel quite often there. So I bought different sets via internet, and I asked the sellers to ship to my brother, avoiding high shipping rates. Now Renata will have to wait until July/August for an – eventual – important "LPS update"... I say eventual because I do not want to influence her too much in following only one passion and maybe she could like something different for that time. Chau! |

Hi Federico!! It's great to have you here!! I feel really bad for collectors from overseas, because I know you all miss out on a lot of stuff.
Your introduction was so sweet, how you play with your daughter. What a nice daddy! And poor Mr. Dog and his violet nose! Too funny!!

Welcome. How big is your LPS collection? I collect LPS with my 8 yr old daughter. Our favorite pet is the lamb.
