Love the collection, of course! ;D But soda can tabs! That's brilliant! I never would have thought of that. But now I will Thanks Carol! Thanks!! But I must say that my ATW set was a little too heavy for my tape job. I had tape soda can tabs to the back (2 of them.) And it didn't seem like the tape was as secure as I wanted it, but I was in a hurry. So last night, I'd fallen asleep on the couch. It was about midnight, I think. My husband was in the other room playing video games. All of a sudden I woke up to a terrible crash. He came in and asked what happened. I said I didn't know, I had been asleep. But I said it sounded like it came from my LPS Corner. So he turned on the light, and sure enough...my ATW set had partially fallen. The soda can tab on the left side had slipped out of the tape. So that side fell down, crashing into the pets on top of my Whirl Around Playground. I was so tired I just said, please take it all the way off the wall, and I'll deal with it tomorrow. I looked this morning, and practically all the pets had fallen out of the ATW box, and they were all mixed in with the pets on my table. Oh well...easily fixed. So now I'm going to super glue and tape. I was having trouble getting the tabs to stay put while the super glue was drying, that's why I did the packing tape. But now I'll put the glue on, then put the tape to secure it while drying. Then it will be glued and taped. Scared the crap out of me though!! Thanks again!!

Oh wow, Carol!! I bet that startled you! I'm glad it is easily fixable.
And I agree -- the soda tab idea is brilliant!

Alright MRS. V....first of all I would like to say FANTABULOUS collection, I just love how you have them organized and set up. What a WONDERFUL idea of putting the items on the wall, I especially LOVE the tin idea. You know I have several here I was going to auction but if you are in need or even just "want" some more PM me and I'll send you some.
Now as for this ducky....hmmm person should I say? I've been holding my tongue for a few days but when I read this I can't do it any longer. THIS FORUM IS SPECIFICALLY SET UP FOR PEOPLE TO SHOW OFF THEIR WORK, COLLECTIONS, ETC, AND TO BE POSITIVE AND UPBUILDING TO ONE ANOTHER. I know YOUNG and OLD we've all heard if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. I find myself in between being young and old and what was said to you was just RIDICULOUS to say the least. I felt absolutely horrible when I read this thread. Duckyroxxo....who do you think you are to be rude to everyone here? Is it necessary for you to make such comments to everyone? Is your self esteem that bad that you have to put others down to make yourself feel better? PLEASE ... for all of the nice people on the forum's sake...FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO POST YOUR RUDE REMARKS!
Mrs. V.... BIG BIG hugs... and try to let the stupid comment go, it's pretty worthless if you ask me.

Fantabulous?!! Wow! Thanks so much for your compliments!! I really appreciate them. I'd love to have some more tins, but I'm afraid I'm all out of wall space now too. But thanks so much for the offer.
And thanks so much for the hugs too. I really appreciate them as well. You are so sweet.

Thanks for the warning I would have jumped out of my skin, I think. Glad there wasn't any damage, except to your nerves, right? That's one of the things I like about LPS, they aren't very fragile.

I was talking about it to my husband last night, and he said I YELLED really loud when it happened. That's why he came running out, not because he heard the pets fall, but because I yelled. He thought something had happened to me. I must've been asleep, heard them fall, and then yelled just as I was waking up. Too funny!! Brilliant? Wow!! Thanks!!

Yes! My heart was racing when I woke up. But I fell back to sleep pretty quickly... I didn't have any time to fix them up last night, since I was gone all night to karate class. I probably won't have time to fix them until Friday night. Poor little pets...

That reminds me of when I was pregnant with the girls. Any little bump or noise that happened in the house my dh would come running. LOL. I wish he would do that now. 3 years ago we were adding a deck to the old place. He didn't even realize he had hit me in the head with a 4 x 4. He came back from the shed and there I was on the ground. "What happened?" He says. LOL. His face when he hear what he did. He carried me in the house. LOL. I still remember it to this day. LOL.
Hope you can get you pets back up soon.

Thanks, Gabi!! My poor little pets are still in the haphazard pile that they fell in. I have had no extra time this week with karate every night getting ready for this stupid demonstration on Saturday. Hopefully I can fix them up on Friday night...if I don't fall asleep as soon as I get home from work....zzzzzzz.....I'm falling asleep here at my computer.....zzzzzzzzzzzz
Laurie! I can't believe your husband hit you in the head with a board!! And didn't even know! That's too funny (now that we know you are ok, of course!) Poor thing! I bet he was horrified.

By the way...I love your "location" (There's not "noise" in Illinois.) This is pathetic, but it took me a few days to get what you meant. I thought you were saying Illinois is really quiet. Then I realized you were talking about how some people pronounce it IlliNOISE, instead of Illinois (silent "s", folks.) That really bugs me when people do that too. The sad thing is...one of my aunts was born and raised in Illinois, and still calls it IlliNOISE. I want to say something so bad when she does that. Ugh!

Wow that is quite and impressive collection. I love how you have it displayed, i try to display my daughters on her bookshelf but she just likes to keep them in the little LPS tackle box (sorry thats what i call it, since i don't know the specific name).
I also saw you had a few care bears and smurfs on that couch, what else do you collect?
