See, I love ferrets. And sables are great, but they're not my favourite ferret colour. I adore the butterscotch colour, as well as...
cinnamon.





He is a shade of tapestry wine & umber, only a slight difference in the photos, but when he's next to my other ferrets you can sure tell! His guardhairs are 'pale yellow' because I couldn't decide if I was going for butterscotch or champange guardhairs. X3
This little guy was a delight to customize. It took about an hour, which after customizing ponies is AMAZING to spend such a short amount of time on a custom, haha!
I still have one more extra ferret, but I'd like to keep him as is and get yet another extra before I make a butterscotch. I wish these guys were more common, because I really want to paint myself a menagerie!

Aww, he's adorable! I used to have a ferret when I was eleven, but my mom gave her away when she got tired of the smell. I miss her... maybe I'll get another one when I have my own place. Can't have one now though, not just because of my mom, but also because I have eight cats and two dogs already, lol. XD;

Ahhh !! I'm jealous !! If I could find more ferrets (without paying a billion dollars for them) I would have you customize them for me, one to resemble each of my four ferrets. One is an albino, how hard would that be ??

Thanks guys! *whew* I was afraid people were going to yell at me. =>

The only difficult part of customizing them is the eyes... that's why I left this guys eyes blue. I don't have a very steady hand for doing fine details! But painting them is extremely easy... they do have to be sealed or finished off somehow, though. I have yet to find a good sealant that will give me the right finish, but I'm looking. Until then, he's just going to sit delicately on the shelf!
