Does anyone have an idea what we get this year?
I just saw an ad for Black Friday and it made me think of it. I'm getting excited!

Don't even know for sure that there WILL Be a Target holiday pack this year. Probably, as there was the last 2 years, but who knows? I monitor the website constantly for changes in the LPS (I use a piece of software), but nothing has shown up there yet. I am hoping my local Target toy manager will be able to tell me soon. He said they will start getting holiday info in a few weeks.

I can't imagine that Hasbro is going to let this holiday go by without any new LPS, and yet we're already into October and we haven't heard or seen anything.

He said there was nothing more coming than what was already out at the store. They will begin getting Christmas back stock next week. In fact, they will be getting a truck next week that is nothing but toys, and they'll be adding the risers to the shelving units and putting stuff up on top.

I was wondering if they will have any Christmas items as well, (advent calendar, ornaments, etc). Last week, I noticed Hello Kitty, Cars, Diego, Hannah, etc. Christmas items already on the shelves, but no LPS.

Actually, with the raised prices that Target is charging for LPS items, I think I would probably cringe at the price for a Holiday multiple item tin/pack.

Although I do remember reading this article about the holiday season and that Target would have a lot of toys on sale (and other items). They are trailing Walmart and realize that with the economy right now, they should lower prices. It was on AOL earlier this evening. I don't see it now. Did anyone else read it? The title was Black Fridays ad leaked, I think

The title was Black Fridays ad leaked, I think Yeah, I saw it. The headline made it sound like they were going to reveal some top secret sales, when it was just an analysis of what the stores will do this year for Christmas, that pretty much anyone could have figured out. Stuff like Toys R Us will have lots of BOGO and B2G1 sales, and Target will have all of their Toys on sale, etc. There's a couple of big surprises. Here's a link to the article if anyone wants to read it: www.walletpop.com/specials/black-friday-deals?icid=100214839x1210919511x1200668513I suspect the Target Holiday Pack this year will run about the same price as previous years. Somewhere between $25 & $30 dollars. Targets not the only one that's raised their prices. Pretty much everyone but Hasbro themselves has. I'm not sure the stores haven't raised all of their prices just so they can run their holiday sales and make it look like your getting a great deal.

There are NO halloween LPS this year. Unless stores have the old tubes to put out. All I know of for Christmas are the globes!
