That is sooo cool, Kim!! Great pictures!!! Sounds like she did amazingly well!! Does she get nervous? There's not way I could've done something like that at her age. I was so shy, I couldn't stand to get in front of anyone for any reason. Tell her GREAT JOB!! Thanks for all your nice comments everyone. Carol she did so well for her 1st official competition and I was so very proud of her. It's really amazing but she doesn't seem to get nervous at all which really amazes me because she has always been the shy, timid type of child. She really has seem to come out of her shell with this. I would be so nervous knowing that there are 3 judges watching me everytime I perform. I'm with you that I can't even stand in front of an audience let alone perform in front of one. which makes me even more proud that Mackenzie can I will be sure to show her all your nice comments and the cheers you guys are leaving her. Thanks again love ya all...

We are all very proud of her. Its funny! I'm Kenzee, love LPS, and I do Cheerleading which I have to do gymnastics to be able to do flips and such. Congratulations to her! I don't compete much anymore, but it's fun! I used to do it a lot but now with cheerleading and figure skating, nah. Ohh, and I have to follow my shopping schedule! But, I still have to or I couldn't do half the stuff in cheerleading and I practice balance for figure skating while on the balance beam. I never do cartwheels or flips on the beam unless I am doing it in the competition. I loved my first comp. I was too nervous so I ended up in 7th. All I got was a good job. I didn't get to do what Kenzie did for my 1st one. With practice, she'll be number 1! They need to make a LPS gym. playset. And figure skating, and cheerleading, and mall! (see sig for my fav. things ever!

Thank you so much for sharing this Kim and all the pictures... I love it She did so Well! Wow, it's amazing seeing her do all those moves in the pictures... were you sitting on the edge of your seat? GREAT GREAT JOB Mackenzie! Thanks Sherry for the wonderful comments. I'm still learning how to use my camera but these pics turned out better than the first time. I was so excited to watch her compete and so very proud. When she got the medal for 5th place I had huge tears in my eyes I was so happy for her. She was standing on the podium with a huge smile on her face looking up at us in the stands and that made my day. In fact in the video when they called her name for the 5th place spot you can hear my big mouth cheering for her . The trip went well as far as Mackenzie's competition but poor Olivia was up the night before until 2:00 A.M. with the flu so my daughter and I didn't get much sleep. Well I just talked to my daughter tonight and now Mackenzie has the flu and has gotten sick several times and had a bad headache. I talked to her and she sounded so sad , but at least there is not a competition this weekend. I guess the flu has been going around the girls from the team in fact 1 girl ended up going home before the meet started.

Aww they have the flu? They will feel better when Nana sees them again! Congrats to Mac.! I did not get a medal or stand on the podium. They didn't have a podium. You went on the stage in the auditorium. Only 1- 3 got on stage. I don't have any comps until 2009 cause this is my cheerleading season for my school. I hardly do comps- only in March cause of figure skating in winter. Then it is spring- GYMNASTICS- FINALLY Competing!!!
