I just learned something new: There really is a mop dog. It is a Hungarian breed named Komondor. LPS can be educational as well as fun and cute. Isn't it swell ;D Oh my gosh I love the mop dog. I can't wait to see Hasbro's version

It is the dog from the Arctic Adventure 2 Playpack, but I'm just saying, maybe it's supposed to be a mop dog and not a sheepdog. Have you actually seen it called a sheepdog in a description anywhere, or have we just been calling it a sheepdog because that's the mold it uses, so that's what we all assumed it was? I don't know, I'm just saying that it's a possibility. When I saw the pictures of the real mop dog, the first thing I thought of was the dog from the AA2. I really hope it's not, but it could be.

Well, of course, you are absolutely correct, it is a possibility. I just hope the mop dog will look at bit different than the sheepdog.

But that's the white sheepdogs. We're talking about the one from the Arctic Adventure 2 set, that isn't white. I haven't seen a description of the AA 2 Set to see what that dog is classified as. Just because it's the same shape as one of the sheepdogs, doesn't necessarily mean it's the same type of dog. It's just a thought that occurred to me when I saw the pictures of the real mop dog. Hasbro could easily say the AA2 dog is a mop dog. It doesn't mean they will, but they could, given their track record of using the same molds for different animals. (squirrel/skunk/chipmunk, doberman/german shepherd) I hope they have a completely different mold for it, but I won't be surprised if it is the sheepdog mold.

I have the set and it doesn't mention it being anything different.
