I've lost 9 pounds!!!! I was looking in the mirror today, and thought I looked a little smaller. So I pulled out the scale, and was so surprised to see some loss! I'm so excited! I feel so much healthier, too. Thanks to everyone for the support! Whoa!!! 9 lbs!!! That's amazing!!! Congrats!!

Thanks gals. I'm so excited. I never see results when I diet, but I've never lasted this long before. I'm encouraged to keep going.

Or did you start before that? Because hasn't it only been about a week? Holy crap!! I don't think I'll ever lose weight like that again. That's so awesome!!

Since Dana started the thread, I've stopped drinking beer every night. And drastically cut down on sodas. I've eaten healthy and in small portions. I've slacked a few times, but for the most part, I'm doing very well.

I don't feel like I am getting anywhere I have to take a blood test to check my sugar levels I am hoping with all the good eating it will be down and maybe my DR will take me off my half a pill for diabetes. Still trying to stay away from late night eating HARD,but my hubby has been off home since Friday and has been trying to help. Every since my mom had her stroke a while ago I have panic attacks sometimes...worrying about her and my chest starts feeling really heavy. Keep it up everyone!!!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry, Elizabutt. Weight is such a pain in the butt. Mine just won't budge. At all. I hate it! I've been stuck at 205 for so long I want to puke.
Hang in there! We are here for you.
My eating schedule is just so messed up right now, because I'm working a late shift on Tuesdays, and other weird times. I'm all discombobulated.
Yesterday I didn't eat anything until noon, when I had a taco salad and about 30 ounces of Coke. Then I worked from 1:30 to 9:30. I had some celery and veggie dip about halfway through my evening. Then when I got home at 10:00 I had a bowl of potato soup with crackers and some fruit punch Gatorade. Oh, and a few pieces of that darned yummy summer sausage with Ritz crackers. That stuff is addictive!
Now today, I had nothing again until 12:30...I just don't take the time for breakfast. I had a Slim-fast shake and baby carrots and veggie dip. Then about an hour later I had 2 pop tarts (but no frosting!)
I resisted the urge to get a Coke from the vending machine....and it was a STRONG urge. But that was my only victory today.
Because I had no time to fix supper before leaving for karate, I stopped and got us Burger King. And even though there are better choices at BK, I didn't get them. I got 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and a Dr. Pepper. Ouch.
Then I had 20 ounces of water at karate. And then I got a Coke and am getting ready to eat some popcorn.
But at least I worked out at karate class. Got a good burn going.
Hang in there everyone!!! We are here for you all!!

Yeah pop is a bad thing, and eating breakfast is the worst meal you can skip! But, being aware of what you're eating is a great thing! And the exercise is an even better thing!
And E...you probably lost some water weight and gaimed it back. You still lost though....that's AWSOME!!
Again, I am glad you gals are doing this with me....it is very helpful!! I didn't add exercise yet but I just haven't had the time (honestly). Hopefully soon!!

But at least I worked out at karate class. Got a good burn going. Hang in there everyone!!! We are here for you all!! discombobulatedWhat a weird word!! I know I've said this before, but I think drinking water is the key. I have a big jug that I fill up everyday and I don't have my Diet Dr. Pepper until I finish it. I still have my coffee in the morning though. I have to have my Coffeemate French Vanilla creamer though. That's my downfall. I have about 2 cups of hot coffee in the morning. When I'm making my first cup, I pour a cup and set it aside to cool because I take iced coffee to work with me. I was sick of paying $2 a day at McDonald's for it, so I started making it myself. Very good, I must say. I've tried the fat free and lite versions, but they both suck. I was so busy today that all I ate was some cheesy ruffly chips when I got home. We had to go to the grocery store, so we didn't eat until after 8. We just had frozen pizza. I had 3 pieces. I ate a couple of the kids' mandarin oranges too. Doesn't sound like a lot, but my tummy's all bloated up like I ate turkey dinner. It sucks. I did drink all my water though and now I'm having my Diet DP. Mmmmm!! Tomorrow I will do better. I don't eat alot, but I just eat the wrong things when I do eat. I haven't gained any "new" weight, but I sure feel like it. Keep up the good work guys! Don't let my bad habits rub off on ya!
