I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how hard it is to loose a pet. At first, it's so hard to think of all the times you had together, but soon you will look back and laugh at those good times! I know when I lost my guinea pig, I cried for DAYS. But now I'm able to look back at all the funny things she did and laugh about it. Also know that your dog probably loved you too, and had the best time with you! It brings comfort to know that you helped that dog have an awesome life with you. And I'm sure his new owners will take care of him wonderfully! Are the people you are giving him to close by? If they are you can always go and visit him or take him for a walk! I hope you feel better soon!

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. Losing a pet, no matter how it happens, is an awful thing.
Best to you and big hugs.

I'm so sorry you have to go thru this.
Maybe you can ask your mom if you can be part of the process of making sure you dog goes to a good home where it will be loved. Maybe if you meet the people that your dog is going to be with it will help you get some closure with losing your sweet dog.

OMG OMG OMG OMG THANKS!!! Guys, and redracyma... It was just that since the neighboor whom gave us the dog was leaving, my mom was worried we'd be a tad bit too busy... to give him the attention he needs... BUT guess what!?!!?! I get to keep him, yes it sounds like the ending of a fairy tale but its true, we're moving where our neighboor is moving. It's a miracle!!!!!!!! I'm so not sad anymore Thanks guys!!!!!

Wow! That is an unbelievable story! You mean that you are moving next door to the neighbors you have now?!?! I've never heard of such a thing? God works in mysterious ways, huh? Praise the Lord!

why would you be too busy to give the dog attention just b/c your neighbors moved? you said it was YOUR dog right?
so instead of just keeping the dog (that you had for the last two years anyway) your parents thought it would just be easier to pack up your entire life and move with the neighbors?
doesn't sound like a 'miracle', but it does sound like something.......

Congratulations. There was another member on the board that used to have miracles like that happen to her. Maybe you might know her? I cant remember her name though.....
Glad you get to continue seeing the dog. ;D

I'm glad that everything worked out and that you are able to keep your dog. :0)
However, I am confused as to why you were not going to be able to keep your dog b/c your neighbor is moving? Did the neighbor take care of your dog most of the time? Did they want the dog back? I'm just confused about that part.

SORRY. It's a LOONG story, where we live... They are houses connected and they run by a coorparate office, where you pay rent ect. The lady, (our neighboor) who gave us Buddy was moving, when we had to go places, say for shows and dance... We would have Buddy's previous owner watch him then, since she's moving my Mom was afraid that, if we were busy alot who would keep him? And take care of him, so I would've had to give him back to his old owner... But, now since were moving where she is moving, when we ARE busy we just drop him off there... But I dont have to give him away! That way, he has someone to t take him out and feed him while were gone. If we werent moving, our neighboor (his old owner) was going to take him, and I wasn't going to have him anymore, but she said even if that were to happen... She would make sure that he always visisted! Get it now? LOL I know veeery long (confusing) story I'm so HAPPY
