Okay - I know most of you don't like Bratz dolls at all, but I have been collecting them since they first came out. I was a Barbie collector and jumped ship when these came out. I don't know why I was so amused at their outfits, big heads and big lips, etc. But I had to have them! Anyway - here is the latest I have been working on. I know she has LOTS of glitz and glam, but she's a fantasy fairy and, as usual, I went overboard! I used a different sealer on her face, arms and legs that I'm not sure about. I had to put it on triple thick on her face to make it look right. (Also to secure all the beads and sequins) It dried super hard and she looks like she is made of glass. Kinda cool actually. The little butterfly on her hand was an after-thought. I was going to make her a wand or give her a teddy, but this worked so much better! Thanks so much for looking (even if you don't like Bratz) Here's her Ebay link: CASSIDYHere's how she started out:I sculpted her "buns", ears, vines on her upper arm and ankle and heart on her upper thigh. I then made wings in green to match her outfit:Then I went nuts with the beads, paint and sequins!! Her hair was totally repainted to look more shiny:Judy

Ok, again, you make me like these dolls. It has to be that I'm a sucker for glitz and sparkles! I love the detailing, again, and the wings are just AMAZING! Gorgeous. Did you do the butterfly on your own? The ears just made me smile, too! Elf-ears! Yay! She sort of reminds me of Tinkerbell!

Come on over to the "other" side!!! hee hee I did do the butterfly on my own. I made it with bakeable clay and wire and a few nail decals. Cassidy needed a little friend. Glad you like the ears! I had to make them pointy! In the HUGE pix, the paint looks like it doesn't quite match her face, but in person, you can hardly tell. Also the glitter on the top of her ears looks black in the pix...? Not in person though. It's so hard to capture what they really look like in photos. Oh - and originally, I was calling her Tinkerbell! But I gave her 2 buns on her head and Tink only has one, so I changed her name. After I did these buns, my hubby, and I think e, told me I should do a Princess Leia. (sp) Hummm....it's a thought.... Thanks again Sweetie! Judy

I totally 2nd this!! My thoughts exactly. I hate Bratz (they're too "slutty" IMO), but you make them so beautiful! I do love the sparklies and details you use! And I'm a TOTAL elf fan... that sells to me 100%! -- They have a bunch of Bratz doll (look-alikes?) & Petz @ Dollar Tree... I put up a post on it yesterday (I think it was yesterday, I'm bad w/ time lol). Here's the link: lpscollectors.proboards56.com/index.cgi?board=art&action=display&thread=1206776485... They have the dolls in ADDITION to the petz, but I didn't get any (and therefore no pics) b/c I don't like them. I don't think the verdict is out yet as to whether they are 100% real Bratz (old ones perhaps) or just look-alikes... but if they're the real thing, you should try to pick up a few, work your magic, and make a nice profit selling your beauties on ebay! If you want me to check here and get more details (and/or some for you if you can't find) just let me know. At any rate, again lots of praise on your angel-elf-baby!
