My hubby just bought me a die cut machine which can take images from a scanner or computer and cut them. I already made one LPS horse! This is the updated paper-pieced version. What do you think??? Should I try to sell them on ebay? This is my first try at a dog, the lines in the drawing weren't as clear as the horse so I still need to work on this one: This is the first one I did: I used the outline to place one at the bottom corner of a scrapbook page. Sorry that the color is yellow but I need to get more papers to play with.

OMG, I abosolutely LOVE scrapbooking. That's been my main craft-hobby for the last 2-3 years. I almost got a die-cut machine for myself this past xmas, but then thought I might want a Xyron laminating/sticker/magnet machine instead - and all the thought on it, I ended up not getting anything at all (LOL)! Which machine did you get? And congrats on getting it! That is such a great idea, he's very cute. I wish I had a die cut of some LPS, lol. Just more praise from a fellow scrapbooker.

Thanks! It is a Pazzles Inspiration from hsn.com. We ordered it when it was the today's special on 3/14. I'm not sure if I'm going to use this for a layout from her party or not, maybe because of the practice color I'll use it on her LPS Easter Egg coloring pages. Although, she is going to be 5 in a few weeks and in her scrapbooks she's about 6 months old. LOL! All of our relatives have more recent small books of her and Mommy still has way outdated ones. mysticrose29: For what it's worth, I have the Xyron 900 sticker/laminator/magnet thingy and I really do not use it much. I found that the cartridges were too expensive to make it my go to machine and the sticker portion leaves a sticky edge around whatever I use it on so I don't use it often. Although...now that I have the die cutter and the pieces are a pain to put on a page I may start using it more.

Very cool! I think I remember that being on HSN, my mom called me about it, haha! You got a good deal! Glad you are having fun with it! And I'm the same way... my daughter is going on 3, and I still am working on her 1st year scrapbook (and have her 1-2, and 2-3 books in progress....eep!)

Ahh, thanks for the tips - that makes it a much easier decision for me! I was looking at the Cuttlebug die cutter, but I've been doing so much this year that needed laminating or where stickers would be easier to use, I started questioning it! I'm the same way - I think that's part of scrapbooking - not having the time to do it as often as you like. I've collected SO much wonderful material to make a huge scrapbook of my "baby" doggie's life (she's 5 now, had her since 4weeks, and she's like my "child" since I don't have one of my own yet), but have yet to sit down and do it. I really need to hook up my computer photo-printer and get the pictures printed - I've decided that's one of the things holding me back is this huge shift to digital photos over the past few years (and therefore less actual pictures floating around). At any rate, thanks for sharing your experience w/ the xyron... and I'd love to see what you end up using the LPS diecut for! You guys are so lucky, btw... little girls 3-5 are so wonderful, by far my fave to work with. ;D
