I have three new horses I have been working on for over a week. Actually, it is more like three new horses that are sitting here because this week is so crazy! I did a lot of leg movements and am interested to see how they translate once painted: Full O' Beans: This bucking horse has a more detailed mane and tail than the first. She has her head cocked the opposite way so they can each be facing each other. I also bent her left rear leg by slicing a wedge out of it and regluing it bent. I am thinking of doing her as a red and white overo paint. They have kind of a cool old west look. Wind Dance: What I did here was lift the bent front leg so she is more like in a spanish walk pose (she has to be on a metal serface to stand) and then turn her tail around and add clay to the tail and mane. I kind of wanted her to have a tennesee walking horse tail but it didn't really come out that way. Don't know what color I want to paint her. Misty Morningstar This pony is going to be a light, dapple gray.... kind of like an andalusian. Her mane and tail have lots of curls. I wish her mane was longer but when I was sculpint, it just kept looking so goofy longer that I finally pulled it off and just went with curls on the existing mane. (I actually went to highschool with a gal by this name. Isn't it pretty?) It is raining and the baby camels are finally doing really well so I think I will paint today! Any ideas on Wind Dance's color.... feel free to inteject! Stay warm.. Nancy

Okay so Wind Dance is my favorite of these. He definately has the pose of an Lippizan or Andalusian...I would go with whites or greys. Although there are dark lippizans too...and they are spectacular! I am sure whatever you paint him he will be beautiful! He looks beautiful just primed!

Thanks everybody! I am too pooped to paint! I got started but there may be changes.
I saw that purse at the Pajama Rama thingy at Walmart.... I almost bought it! It is a pretty teenie tiny purse though. But the horsey is so cute!
