......... I worry about copy rights You could state in your action description that you are not affiliated with Hasbro or Scooby Doo and that this is a piece from your collection that you're ready to let go of. PS. Great job on Scoob.

I love the diamond tag, why did you take it off? That would be a big part of the scooby trademark - of people recognising it as scooby. It's illegal to profit from other peoples copyrights, trademarks and intellectual property. The only way to legally do it would be if you were a manufacturer or company that wanted to collaborate and you approached them and drew up contracts together that allowed you to make representations of their character and sell them and you would either have to pay them a certain amount beforehand, or they would get a percentage of your profits.

Thank you all for your comments you have all been so kind and helpful.
I left the tag off for 2 reasons. One was what Ashes said, I'm still a little worried about copyrights. And two I made the collar out of foam and had glued the diamond on my daughters, but I'm afaird it would come off in the mail, with how mail is handle and didn't want anyone to be upset if it fell off. I think if I make another one I'll use clay and make the diamond tag but maybe leave the SD off or in my ad or say I named him Super Dee.
