How much do you think the newborn families mommy swan and snuggling babies without dragon fly, pink bucket, and collars go for?

hard to say. they are so rare, sometimes people want to collect it even if they are not complete. i'm thinking that these days things are slow on ebay. i'm wondering if it it will hit around $11-20. could still go for $25 and over. we'll see what happens. anyone else wanna place bets? ;]

well, that person bought it for $12 a few days ago (see ebay stores completed auctions) and are trying to sell it to turn a profit. kind of messed up if you ask me.

i'm not paying 11 bucks for it if anyone wants to bid that, go ahead. i've got most of those pieces anyhow. it's really hard to find lots with just animals but you can outbid me on the swans if you like...i don't know how i'm gonna find that extra collar. i don't think i'll collect the swans -- i really really like just the basic pets. by the time the swans, deer, foxes came out, i was "too old" for LPS and never really played with mine. my prediction is the swans, foxes, ducks, deer should be more prevalent in yard sales and things now that people my sister's age (17, 18) are graduating and moving out. she was born in '91, so she was like 3 or 4 when these came out. people that age would have kept the swans/deer/foxes over the later LPS cartoon stuff. I HOPE. ...LOL.

I'm jealous of the people who put huge lots on ebay and are like, "I found it at a garage sale." waaah.

(at least those are in the free bin!) i've found a total of 4 loose pets at garage sales, and 1 accessory. Usually in quite mangled condition!!! yes, i would love to find... nice sets... or even more crappy free ones would be great to me!

psst... to quote another member, click the quote button on the right hand side of their reply. If you don't know how to do something computery, just ask! You can PM me if you want if you think it's something so terrible everyone will laugh - we all have to figure these things out. You can only quote one person at a time, unless you open a new window and copy and paste (that's a pain in the butt). haha... thanks. oh jeez... easy enough, eh? oh, and the laughing... i could care less... haha.. i should just hope it would brighten someone's day!!! (i hate emoticons...--if that's what they're called-- but i love 'em at the same time... haha)

haha =p who outbid me on the swans? I didn't want them too bad. well, I did, but out of principle I didn't want to give the person selling them profit when I knew she bought them a week ago for $12. I bet she totally thought they were gonna end at $50 or something. Was buying them and reselling them really worth the $5 profit? She should have just left them up for someone who wanted them to buy for $12. ugh. That really annoyed me for some reason. I never buy something to resell unless its in a lot full of other stuff that I actually need. /end rant

I agree on reselling just to make a little profit if you just bought the set not long ago. I don't give them money either. I see it all the time on pony auctions and it depresses me.

i bought the deep sea divers to relist because i had the exact accessories that weren't included in her set. i know that's kind of on the brink of bad-relisting. what about when people relist 1 baby cat for 14 dollars? the thing that does bother me is if someone outbids at the last five seconds. that just seems rude. there's kind of an unspoken rule that you let your presence be known in the bidding long before five seconds is left. i haven't ever found LPS stuff at garage sales or goodwill either!! not GOOD stuff anyway. maybe a stray accessory to the newer LPS but nothing older. really, the swan set only has 1 collar???

the thing that does bother me is if someone outbids at the last five seconds. hehehehe. Guilty. It's called sniping, and it keeps the bid low, instead of jacking the price up early on, you put your max bid at the end and you usually get the item cheaper that way because no one can counter-bid you at 5 seconds. I only do it on items I really want though, or things that will end really really high, like those several hundred dollar lots that come up every now and then... And yeah, I've seen that $15 kitten, haha, that person is greedy.
