G1 sets are FINALLY almost priced/with pics

Alrighty, after the first batch that I sold on eBay, I got the second batch done with pictures and prices on my sales thread for G1 pets. So, go check that out if you were hoping for some sets! I have a few more to do yet, and the odd pieces I need to get put with the sets yet. I think that's why they aren't done yet!

Anyway, thanks so much to everyone for their help. I'm just glad my pets are getting great new loving homes. I'll miss them, but I just don't have room...

I do have some odd pieces left over, though.

I have 5 monkeys, two light beige, three darker brown. Two purple collars, 3 blue, but not all the same color monkeys. Which go with the tree house set?

I have 2 white/black huskies with orange collars. Who do those go with?

I have a little white mouse sitting here by its lonesome, on its hind legs. Any ideas?

Purple leash with blue collar attached. From one of the sets, I'm sure, but which one?

Beyond those, I think I have everything else matched up. I'll get that full list up when I can. My husband is doing something that's tying up all the memory, so being on line takes forever!

I'm curious about these, so anyone have any ideas on value? All of those listed above are complete, unless noted. Some have their original inserts, some don't. Boxes and cards are complete, though, with no torn pieces or cut out spots.

Thanks so much! I'll be sad to sell them off, but they need to be with someone that will appreciate them more. And I don't want to just give them to my kids to play with and break, if someone else would like to collect them.

I know how that goes, flipdat! I run into that all the time at the Arena...looking for some ponies I really need, have NO money, and that's when the people that have those ponies are looking to sell in 2 days! I don't think I'll sell them all immediately, but I'll try to keep things updated.

I know I have more pets, and I will keep looking. We were trying to move a couple summers ago, so I was packing things up to move out. Well, the housing market prevented moving then, so I literally have a basement full of packing boxes! I was hoping I had them all correctly labeled, but now I'm wondering if I don't. And I didn't mark the G2s as such, so I have to open ALL the boxes with LPS on them to make sure! I may have stuff in with Barbies...who knows?

Thanks for the prices. Anyone else know roughly what prices some of the sets bring in? I'd really rather not do eBay, because any extra profit I find just goes to fees. And collectors are going to be kinder and gentler to my precious pets!

So squirtsquirt, you must have one collected them MOC or MIP and freed the animals, huh? how long did it take you to get to this collection and how much did you spend?

I honestly bought them all to open and play with, but the MOC ones were those that I bought, but didn't open. I tended to do that as I bought stuff. I also ended up buying some doubles, so if one was open, the other stayed MIB/MOC. I had some ponies that ended up that way, as well.

I didn't buy all of them full price, as I found when I started packing the boxes after sorting the sets. Many of my boxes/cards have sales price stickers on them. I sort of remember buying a ton of them from KB back in the day, and a bunch are marked down to 3 for $10, or $2.99/$3.99 each. I know the Sea World ones I did get mostly for full price. So, hard to tell how much I really spent!

I just loved the little critters, and I did play with them a little when I got them. That was around the end of college/starting out on my own, though, so I didn't have a lot of space, and that's why they all ended up in boxes. I really want to dig a bit more for that other box, though...

as for the mail order monkeys: angelbear and i have discussed this in a thread before, but we concluded that the monkeys came in both the purple collar and the ones that show up in the pamphlet with the blue collars. Angelbear remembered receiving one when she was a kid, just like the one in the pamplet, and i've also seen one with a broken arm in a lot on ebay late last year.

oh and one more thing to add from mouse's reply, if the white mouse standing on hind legs doesn't have a magnet underneath, it goes to the star style pet salon; if it does, it would go to the marching mice.

as for the purple leach with a blue collar, that should go to the 1992 teal store playset.

I recommend bidding on her auctions, its not often the rare stuff comes up on ebay, let alone with the cards or MOC and in such good condition

Thanks for that, Misty! I just want my babies to find great new homes. As sad as it's been to pack them up and ship them away, I know at least now they will find the light of day! I'm working on getting the rest of what's available priced, and maybe I can even get pics up. I'm still having issues with my webspace, but I may be able to put them on a page together.

I'm still trying to get my end of semester stuff done, so I don't have tons of time, but I think everyone wants these last two boxes of pets out of the living room, so I'll have to deal with them soon!
