That's cute, I guess we need to figure out the names of the dime store fakie sets. Kenner used to sell their molds all the time, they did it with Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake and Bat Man, I am sure they did it to LPS. that's weird that they sold their molds. we do need to find out where these fakies come from, i want some mine doesn't have an imprint on the bottom, not very helpful. lol.

Question about real pets:
Is there a difference between Collie and the Poodle leashes? Is the Collie leash darker and non glittery while the poodle is lighter/more transparent and is glittery?
Is there a difference between the Sleek Siamese spilled milk and the kitty stamp spilled milk [maybe the shape of the milk spill?] ?
Are the food dishes to the Lively Shitzu the same as the puppy stamp food dish?
Thanks girls. if any one knows some for sure answers that would be great. ;]

Question about real pets: Is there a difference between Collie and the Poodle leashes? Is the Collie leash darker and non glittery while the poodle is lighter/more transparent and is glittery? I can't help you too much with this as I don't have the Poodle's leash, but I can tell you that the Collie's leash does have glitter. I believe (but again, can't confirm) that it's the Poodle's leash that doesn't have glitter. Is there a difference between the Sleek Siamese spilled milk and the kitty stamp spilled milk [maybe the shape of the milk spill?] Upon close inspection, yes, there are some differences between the 2 spilled milk buckets. My difficulty is I'm not certain which went to which set initially. Anyway, the shape of the milk is the same, but the color varies slightly. On one of them, the milk has a slightly more off-white hue to it, and is glossy, whereas the other's milk is actually white, and is quite matte (like an eggshell). Also, if you flip the 2 spilled milk buckets over, at least with the ones I have, the "milk" on the off-white one runs the length of the bucket, and the other stops at the rim...here's a quick picture to help better explain: So can someone who has only one of these help me figure out which spilled milk goes to which set? Are the food dishes to the Lively Shitzu the same as the puppy stamp food dish? Thanks girls. if any one knows some for sure answers that would be great. ;] This isn't really a for sure answer, as I don't have the Shih Tzu's food bowl, but by looking at the picture on Zuse's site and looking at my stamp pup's bowl, I'm pretty certain that the Shih Tzu's food dish is lavender, whereas the stamp pup's is a bright pink...so nope, not the same. Hope this helps a bit. --Leah (styxlver82)

styxlver82 is right about the Shitzu's food dish, one is purple, the other is pink.
As for the buckets of milk, I have the siamese MIP so lemmie check.

what would be the purpose of selling the molds? it just seems that they would potentially be creating more competition Kenner did this after they were finished producing them. Often they would sell it to 3rd world countries like Brazil and Asian countries as well, then an American distributer would contract the company to make them. You will find that trademarks are removed from the 'tooling' or 'molds' things that would say 'Littlest Pet Shop' would be filed down.
