yes, there are duckling variants, i have noticed it too; just as you described and have kept them as extra ducklings. =]
i was trying to figure out what the third variant for the bobcat was when i read your wishlist or something the other night. will you please describe it and maybe post a picture when you have time? thanks, Misty!

i think this is the other variant bobcat that Misty is talking about; very similar to the original, but the paws/legs aren't white. the underside/bottom portion/belly stays white however.    Compare to the MIP/MOC on Zuse's guide: littlestpetshop.50webs.com/ukpets.htm |

A couple other observations that I don't *think* have been mentioned yet:
The tails on the Suppertime Guppies can be an orangish-pink transparent plastic, or they can be an iridescent, clear, textured material.
Also, the little shell cradle that comes with the Mommy Mer Catfish set can be either white or pink.

i've seen this a couple of times on ebay, but for the hop n hide bunnies, does anyone know if it can also come with a dark blue brush [sparkly, i think] instead of the original white one?
