oooh! wow! that did look like a great find. lot of rare ones in that one. only thing is they were mostly loose pets, but i could imagine that reselling those would have made a little bit more of a profit. ending price is a little high for me though. i guess i'd have to know more about vintage lps before i can bid that high on loose pets... hmmmm.

Heh, funny I don't if I saw that lot it even had the pieces I need for the twinkling sled party set though I think the sled was broken. Plus the harness was missing.

Yeah... I bid on that lot and lost it, that person bid ridiculously high on several lots that day and it was missing too many pieces for it to be worth it for me... missing the handles to the baskets, missing several pets from each set, etc. That person sniped a bunch of auctions. people are getting really sneaky with the sniping lately.

I've placed bids on various auctions and was otubid during the final seconds. Oh sorry for not posting here, been having some computer problems so I'm unable to log in and post.
Until I get that straight I'm using a lap top in my sister's room. I might not be coming here that often though.

sorry to hear that foxhound =/ you probably got sniped in the last few seconds... I am guilty of doing it as for me, I won a lot this week and have a big one in the mail, and I am buying that big one thats up right now. I only want a few pieces out of each one so they are all going to end up back on ebay as soon as people stop listing so much stuff, lol.

A word about people who snipe at the end of the auctions:
I have been around eBay for 10 years and in my experience, people who continually bid over and over again during the early days of the auction just end up inflating the price and make it way too expensive. Often times it opens up a bid war between two or more people, great for sellers, bad for the buyer. Sniping is the way to get the best deal on anything. I usually snipe unless I can't be around for the end of the auction.

I only bid early if its something I don't really want or if it has 0 bids. If they make their early bids really high that inflates the price too. Patience is key, hehe. I hate being patient.

I hate being patient. i concurrrrr. i have discussed this with misty before and i know angelbear does use this method. it does suck when you get sniped, but it really is the best way to win things. i do the same thing that angelbear does. i never bid until the last day of the auction.
