you guys' stories are F'in' nasty; and with a capital F. hahahahaha. horrible. for the most part, mine have been in pretty good shape. i had one lot smell like cigarettes though w/a playcase that was pretty dirty, but the toys were in pretty good shape. the only other worse one i received was some toys that did smell a little funky, but i mostly had a problem with the film on some of the toys. like some nasty ass water was sitting on the toys for awhile and dried up. anyway, i messaged the ebay seller, but i did ended up giving her a posititive on ebay.

I found a carry case at the thrift store the other day! I bought it for a dollar but it's missing the awning and one of the shelves.

the garage sales i go to all have like old farm equipment and rail-road stuff...and racing-related collector stuff... i went yard-sale hopping this weekend too, and spent 20 dollars. part of it was for a table (kitchen bar table with two stools). the littlest pet shop hair mess was cleaned up after a long soak, thank goodness. but blech! grody. i can't imagine budgie crap.

I think that guy will be relisting them. I'm pretty sure he has a ton of old kenner stuff and that's the second times he's relisted the same sets since i've been watching them... I wouldn't worry too much, I'm willing to bet he has a LOT more that would be nice... maybe i could get the monkeys as well... and glad i wasn't bidding against you mouse... i hope he comes up with more of them... i feel kinda bad... ... so... recent purchases... woo... hmmm.. i'll consider them real purchases when they come in the mail... then we'll see what i got...

i'm glad that star thing came up, but it came up too late 'cause i was bidding like crazy earlier. at least i won't feel as guilty bidding against people if i do happen to bid on anything in the near future. =[

nice one! yeah, the mini surprise are cute, but i'm collecting those last. i do have the fish though and always thought they were cute. i also happened to have the bunny set from the huge lot a bought awhile ago. =]
i have a question, mouse: how come the sellers from australia sell lps for much more than US? i think Misty was wondering this too. what's your theory? are they just taking advantage of because maybe it's rarer in your country and shipping would be cheaper? i dunno. that's just what it seems like to me. i remember awhile back that i think unicorn expressed how hard it was to find someone in australia who sold the vintage lps...

are you serious? why is the shipping so expensive there? i wonder why they can't just work out a deal with USPS and stick the US-bound items on the planes that are returning from AU to US? That stinks.
Well, its still no excuse for selling stuff for $75 a set. Unfair...

I thought postage from America to Australia was far more expensive than postage within Australia because I keep seeing lots of thing I'd like to buy from America but when I ask about postage, the postage makes the item too expensive - often more than the price of the item - or maybe people are just charging large handling fees? I'm not sure. I would like to try and buy from people on here because I would trust them not to do that and then there wouldn't be ebay fees inbetween but I'm not on here very often and I only usually see the G1 things I'm interested in after people have bought them.

i've shipped an incomplete cow set to france. can you give us the details Misty? does it have anything to do with an address being "unconfirmed"? What i tried to do was message the buyer the address that shows up on the pay pal and get them to confirm through writing that that was the correct address. or get them to message you the address.
whenever i ship internationally, i also have the post office make a copy of the customs form and have them post mark it with a stamp before they stick it onto the package. i then staple my receipt to the copy. Don't know if this would ever really work as "proof" that this was sent, but i've done this just for my own ease. does this help any, Misty?
Also, yes PLEASE buy something from me! hahahaha. i have too much things to get rid of and haven't made enough time to do ebay listings. My sale thread should be in this old school section. Misty also has a couple of things in her ebay store and sells them for really cheap. Squirtsquirt's sale thread is in the "Sale section" and has a couple which are in Mint condition and include the box or backing card. So PLEASE ASK AWAY! ;D hahaha. Thanks for the referral, Mouse! ;D

I dunno, I tried to ship something to France and it asked for a customs form that wasn't available online, online on paper, and if I have to drive to the post office for a customs form I might as well just ship it there... I dunno... ahhhh You just need the custom form #2976 (green and white). If you ask the next time you are at the post office, they will give you a few to have on-hand. You just have to address the box and fill out the form. I have only printed online postage for an over-seas package once and was confused, so I just fill out the form and take it up to the post office anyway. A lot easier for me. Boodie

Yeah, you just stick the form on the package. the other half gets ripped out by the post office while one part stays on. You'd also still need to put the buyer's address and the shipper's address on the actual package.

heheheh. i call them packing peanuts. they do get pretty messy. and if you have enough, it's real fun to jump in them and throw them around with the kids... until you clean it up and find out you gotta vacuum the other crap. sigh. i should be getting my pink registration forms/certificates, complete deer set, couple of loose forest animals and cow, and near complete honey bear w/fact card sometime tomorrow. i already had most all of these, but bid and won them for the stuff that i didn't have. Soooooo, i'll be having just a little bit of extras sometime soon and post 'em in my sales thread sometime between now and neverrrrrrrrr.
