I thought I should start giving some time to my boys as well as Haley. I found these 3 pictuers of Zach near Easter of 2006. It's him with his lambs. My sister-in-law's father still raises sheep, and he took these 2 over for the party. Poor things having to wear those stupid bows. But they're still cute: I'll have to post one of the little guy when I'm not so tired. Mrs. V (Carol) Aunt Carol to Haley, Zach, Daniel (and a few others that I don't mention here.)

Hey Carol. Reading up about your neice is scaring me. My girls are going teenages soon. Its scary. I already know that I will have the most problem with Savannah. We but heads now. I wish that I could freeze time but I know thats not possible. I guess the best we can do is let them know that we are there for them and love them. I am going to go and hug my girls now. P.S. your nephew is cute.

Carol, I know all about teenage girls and more...why you ask? I have a Freshman in college, and 2 in High School plus my little angel Alyssa and a loving wife....even the new cat is a girl....do you think I get a break LOL. I have been through the trial and tribulations of IM's, text messaging and "My Space" to say the least. My girls simply hate it when I put my two cents in but when something does happen they won't get the "I told you so" from me, they need to learn on there own. It's hard not worrying about them but at the same time you have to give them their space. As far as your niece goes, by you being there for her is the best thing and she knows she has someone to turn too if needed.

Thanks! I can't believe how much older he looks now than in those pictures. He's 4 1/2 now and getting so grown up looking. I'll post a more recent picture tonight hopefully. Aunt Carol

P.S. your nephew is cute. Oh gosh, I didn't mean to scare you. But having teenage girls is a very scary thing. Especially when my hubby tells me horror stories of teenage boys' raging hormones (from personal experience he tells me.) I don't want to know about that!! Especially when these boys are sniffing around Haley! She tells her boyfriends that she's not going to have sex until she's at least 18, but I don't trust the little buggers. They're just one big hormone (not their fault, it's nature, I guess.) You're right, just tell them we love them, hug them, and let them know we'll always be there for them, no matter what. And thanks for the compliment about Zach. Aunt Carol

I can't believe you haven't gone insane yet. Thanks for the advice. I agree that giving them their space is a good idea. No one wants to be suffocated. And she knows she can call me anytime, day or night. That's why we got her that cell phone. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Aunt Carol

This is Zach after I gave him the LPS dragonfly. He was very excited about that one. I wanted to take a picture of him and the dragonfly, but he's being a real stinker lately about not wanting to have his picture taken. I still got him a little, but he wouldn't look at me. He wanted the dragonfly to ride in the bus. Then you can see the little guy, Daniel, with their rocking horse. It's not a very good picture of him though. I'll try to find a better one. Aunt Carol

You have a beautiful niece and handsome nephews.
If you don't mind my opinion, I think you should stay as a friend for your niece, and if she needs some advice you can say what she can do or not.
And if she has a difficult situation at home you can say to her to think about her acts, so she won't repeat with her what happens at home now.
Regards,
Bibi

Here are a few pictures from that day that I went with my brother and his family to watch some harvesting. The first one is of me and Daniel watching the corn being unloaded into the wagon. He's such a sweetie! Notice the ear of corn he's hanging onto for dear life. This is Zach getting some of the ears of corn. He loved doing that the most. Then he threw them into the corn picker when his grandpa came up with it. And another of Daniel investigating. They are such sweet boys...most of the time. ;D Aunt Carol

This is one of my favorite pictures ever of the boys. I finally scanned it today. It was taken last October. I love how it looks like Daniel is "peeking" around Zach. The sheep are at their other Grandpa's house. My sister-in-law's family raised sheep too. Ok, I think I'm done clogging up the forum with pictures for today. Aunt Carol
