Don't eat much ice cream as a rule but last week after one of the men in the building was talking about ice cream for two days when the Schwanns man came last week the lobby was full and I now have some chocolate almond ice cream in my freezer. Flipping through the catalog I saw something else I could not resist - I have a big box of push ups in there too. Yummy.

I'm not much for ice cream. I guess if I had to choose I would pick plain ole vanilla, but if you take me to Dairy Queen I'll go for the Heath Blizzard! You and my husband. He LOVES the Heath Blizzard! I always say, "Don't you want to try a different one?" And he says, NO! Heath! I really like plain old chocolate. But I also love vanilla if I can put chocolate syrup and peanuts on it. I used to love doing that as a kid. And I would stir it all up into the "soup" mentioned above. Because of my love of vanilla with chocolate syrup and peanuts, I've had 2 Peanut Buster Parfaits at DQ lately. Yummy!

Mmmmm, Banana Split. We just had that one! Funny how it's not up North. I'd send you some, but I'm sure it'd just be a mess! Wink.

I have now found a new favorite frozen treat.
Has anyone ever had Edy's Fruit Bars? The ones I LOVE are All Natural Strawberry. They are like popsicles, but with real strawberries. I can feel the real strawberries sometimes when I'm chewing. And it tastes just like real frozen strawberries.
Strawberries are my favorite fruit, so I'm in love. I just happened to see them at Target a couple weeks ago, when I was looking for ice cream for my husband. I wanted something myself, but they didn't have a big selection of frozen stuff. So I saw these and thought I'd try them. Yummy!!! I'm so glad I did!! I've had 12 bars since then...almost one a day.
They are fat free, an "excellent source of Vitamin C" (25% of DV), and "made with real fruit."
They also have lime, but I'm not that crazy about lime. In the half bars I think they also have mixed boxes of lime/strawberry/wild berry and also grape/cherry/tropical (that one doesn't say real fruit...it says all natural.)
The strawberry ones are 80 calories per bar, and they are the big bars.
I'm in love...(I love food if you can't tell.)
Just thought I'd share.
