I think that the whirl around playground is the best playset, is the funniest to me. I just told my daughter when she was playing on the weekend that the playground is my favorite (and it's where all this LPS story began).
We'll wait for the pictures. Now we have a cannon (powershot sd 750) as our digital camera, is really nice. We use to have a sony, which was good too.

Well, I've been tinkering tonight. I can't leave my LPS corner alone. I keep thinking of little ways I want to change it. I went ahead and hung up the horse flypaper sticker on the wall. Hopefully it won't ruin the paint, since we live in an apartment. I'll check it tomorrow.
And I switched around the pets in my showcases. I put only dogs and cats in the unmodified showcase. And a variety of other animals (but no dogs or cats) in my white one. I like it better that way. Not so mixed up. I like things to be orderly. Maybe it's one reason I'm a librarian.
I also filled up my new storage container. And also at Target, I bought this little 3 drawer unit that matched the storage containers with the lavendar and pink. I'm putting my inserts in one drawer, receipts in another, and the circles, etc. that are in with each pet in the last drawer.
But now it's late, and I have to be up early in the morning. So I'm going to have to force myself to turn off the light and not look at the LPS corner anymore tonight. ~Sigh~

Wow great collection....I love how you have it set up. It looks great!!!!!! Thanks very much, Nana! I'm very pleased with it. Although I've made a few small changes since those latest pictures even. I'll post more in the near future. The more pets I get, the more changes I have to make. My corner is busting at the seams! Mrs. V (Carol)

*Modified after recounting.*
Ok, so I printed out the latest Excel list of pets on Friday and went through the task of making sure I had checked off every pet that I have. Then I counted them up again, and I have 223 total pets. That's 195 different pets, 20 duplicates, and 8 customs. Here's my breakdown (this doesn't include duplicates:)
43 different dogs 30 different cats 23 different birds 17 different bunnies 7 different mice 6 different butterflies 5 different spiders 5 different frogs 5 different turtles 4 different ferrets 4 different Pandas 4 different crabs 3 different fish 3 different insects (dragonfly, ladybug, bee) 3 different pigs 3 different horses 3 different monkeys 3 different chinchillas 3 different seahorses 2 different geckos 2 different salamanders 2 different guinea pigs 2 different snails 1 chimp 1 lamb (so far) 1 hamster 1 iguana 9 assorted mammals (racoon, chipmunk, skunk...)
It doesn't seem that my numbers add up there, but I'm tired (it's after midnight and I babysat tonight) so I'm going to say it's close enough and head to bed.

Ok, so I printed out the latest Excel list of pets on Friday and went through the task of making sure I had checked off every pet that I have. Then I counted them up again, and I have 222 total pets. That's 194 different pets, 20 duplicates, and 8 customs. Here's my breakdown (this doesn't include duplicates:) 42 different dogs 30 different cats 23 different birds 17 different bunnies 8 different mice 6 different butterflies 5 different spiders 5 different frogs 5 different turtles 4 different ferrets 4 different Pandas 4 different crabs 3 different fish 3 different insects (dragonfly, ladybug, bee) 3 different pigs 3 different horses 3 different monkeys 3 different chinchillas 3 different seahorses 2 different geckos 2 different salamanders 2 different guinea pigs 2 different snails 1 chimp 1 lamb (so far) 1 hamster 1 iguana 9 assorted mammals (racoon, chipmunk, skunk...) Isn't fun when you start having to add them all up? I added up you lost and I came up with 195 regular pets + 20 duplicate = 215 + 8 customs = 231 pets. I dont even want to caount mine. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the help, Laurie. I recounted from my master list. I actually have 43 dogs instead of 42 and 7 mice instead of 8. And my recount resulted in the 195 pets that you came up with, not 194 like I had counted. Plus the 20 duplicates and 8 customs. And that actually totals 223. Right? My brain is fried. Me no like math!
I LOVE the G2 Excel List provided here on the forum. It's a lifesaver! I feel better now knowing that I'm all up-to-date with my lists and counts. That's the librarian in me.

Awesome collection So... so... so creatively put together for display too. Loooove them. Please share more. Spring cleaning's far down on the task list but is a very cool idea! Oohh! Thanks very much!! ;D I really do need to get some new pictures. I've changed out the Biggest Littlest Pet Shop (on the table) with the Whirl Around Playground, and I think it looks better. And I have a small shadow box hanging on the wall now that holds the customs that I've bought from awesome customizers here on the forum. And of course I've added a LOT more pets, it seems! I don't know how that happened! But I'm still waiting for my hubby to help me get a digital camera. I just want to go and BUY one. But he says I need to research it on the internet and get customer reviews, blah, blah, blah. I just want a camera! I'm going to have to force him to help me with it then, if he's going to be picky. He's so darned picky about electronics stuff. He doesn't care about anything else I buy, but if it's electronics, then he makes it a bigger deal than I want to. I'll just have to take more pictures with my old crappy camera just so I can show you guys more. Until that new elusive camera is bought. Thanks again for your compliments!! ;D Mrs. V (Carol)

As I told before here, I have a digital camera that is canon , but you have to buy one that has a good resolution and its fast ( I think canon is faster then sony).
Good Luck

Good Luck Bibi Yes, that's what hubby says. It has to be fast, because my nephews move so quickly it's hard to get them sometimes. I said, But I mainly want it for still shots (pets and collections, etc.) But he said You don't want to buy one just for that. Because you're going to take pictures of the boys too, of course. He's right, I know. The Kodak ones seemed to have quite a bit slower shutter speed than the Sony and Canon. So he's wanting me to get one of those. Thanks for your advice!! Mrs. V (Carol)

I mean, when you press the button, is there a long pause before the picture takes. That's what I'm worried about. Or that's what HE'S worried about. Carol

You can look up different Camera models on this website called www.pricegrabber.com and it will give user and expert reviews... and other details about the camera.. www.beachcamera.com is a discount website that sells camera's and will give details like shutter speed.. my dad bought an HP camera from there that he's happy with.
