very cute easter set up, i didnt even think of decorating with mine, i will have to keep that in mind for next year. and about the pictures i dont know what it is but mine always seem blurry for some reason. who knows Someone has said on here that we shouldn't take our pictues quite so close. Then once we take them we can crop them and make them closer. I'm going to try that next time. Thanks for the compliment!! Mrs. V (Carol)

Wow Carol!!! That sign is waaaaay bigger than I thought it would be!!! It looks great!!! Can I come over and play at your LPS toy store!!?!! lol! You're collection is going to out-grow your space! It looks like it already has!! LOVE it!! Smooches! Judy I know!! I'm outgrowing my corner!! I have one other end stand in that corner that I could clear off what's already on there and put on more pets, I guess. Other than that...I'm not sure!! We just might have to move to a bigger place! Of course you're welcome to come and play...just let me know when you're coming so I can pick up a bit. ;D Mrs. V (Carol)

I really, really need to get a new camera so that I can post pictures of my Pet Corner! I've done some "redecorating." I hung the LPS Showcase (as was) on one wall. Then I hung the "customized" Showcase that I painted white on the other wall of the corner. Then in between I hung my Target Tin (I superglued a picture hanger on the back.) Now I need to rehang my "Carol's Pets" sign up above the cases, and it will be set for now.
Since I have more space due to the Showcases, I'm not quite as "bursting at the seams" in my corner as I was before. So I shouldn't have to move out just yet. It will only become a problem when I finally buy the Round and Round Town. I don't know where that will go. On the floor, maybe. It still looks a little cluttered for my taste, but I don't know what else to do about it. I just don't have enough space. I've got the nooks packed away right now, and some of the newer accessories. I think I'll have to start putting away some of the cases that came with the portable pets.
I want to get a cabinet of sorts (with doors) to put in our dining room/kitchen area that will hold all of my LPS stuff that doesn't need displaying. Like the puzzles, games, accessories, etc. But the floor space where I want to put the cabinet is taken up by something else right now. When that's moved, then I can think about buying a cabinet.
The item that is taking up the space now is a large model of the Star Trek Enterprise (don't ask which one, because I don't know.) It was built by my husband's brother who passed away 2 years ago this month. He put so much time and effort into that model. He put over 500 ft. of LCD lights into it, so that when you turned it on, it all lit up through the "windows." My husband was always so proud of his brother for building such a neat model. He had to modify a lot of the parts from the kit, because they didn't fit right. So it really was a work of art. And when Marty passed away, that model was all hubby wanted. And we want to have a glass-topped case made for the model and put it out. But we haven't gotten around to it (I know, I know--it's been 2 years!) But we're so slow about everything. Plus, once we get the case, then we'll have to figure out where we want to put that. Oh my goodness, we NEED more space. Ugh!
So...well, didn't I get off the subject there. Sheesh! I don't want to work right now, can you tell? I'm in a really foul humor about my job, and it doesn't make me very energetic. Blah!
Anyway, I need to ask my hubby to go with me to get the camera, because I need to make sure it will "work" with our computer and all that. I don't understand any of that stuff. I just want a digital camera that takes good pictures of my pets. That's all. And I'm keeping in mind the one that you suggested, LPC. The Kodak Easy Share 5.0 Mega Pixel. That will be the first one I look at.
Well, I guess I really should get back to work now. Blech...

So I have found these clear plastic storage containers made by Sterilite at Target. They are approximately 14 in. x 9 in x 12 in. And they have a snap-on lid that is lavendar and pink. I got them for my extra LPS stuff that I can't bear to part with yet. Like empty containers (the tubes...I can't throw them away for some reason.) And some of the other cuter cases. And my coloring books and activity books. This 'n' that. It looks better in these containers than just on the floor or in a cardboard box. And I'm going to try to put one of the flypaper animals on each one to decorate them. The lavendar and pink aren't the exact same shade as the LPS colors, but they are pretty close. I thought it was neat to see them not far from the toys. Again...when I get my camera I'll take a picture.

That idea will work good.. this past Christmas, I bought a pink container and Disney Princess fly paper and decorated the plastic container with all the Princess' etc. and bought different dress up clothes and accessories, put them in the container and wrapped it up for Kara... It turned out good, a cute Princess dress up box. So I would assume the LPS fly paper will stick good to the containers you bought and be real cute! Love to see a picture when your done
