With the way the snake is poised, I would think maybe a cobra or a rattle snake would look good.

yes a coral snake would be very pretty indeed. but Adders are beautiful too, so you can also make him one. Adders are beautiful. The triangles would be difficult to paint. The reason I was thinking coral, is because of the lines already on the belly. A forked tongue would look great on the snake I agree. Still trying to figure out the best way to attach one. With the way the snake is poised, I would think maybe a cobra or a rattle snake would look good. True! Because it looks like it's in the striking position. Good idea! Mrs. V We wanted to make him a rattle snake. The problem is the tail naturally twirls inwards. I could cut the tail and put a rattler on it. But, I think I'll save that feat for the next snake custom. Thank you all for taking the time out of your day to make mine.

Bloody brilliant is all I have to say. Did you do all those Koala customs on ebay as well? I've always wanted to try one ever since I saw the idea, but I can never get the heads back on after I pulled them off. Any tips on that part. I want to try the head on a panda body

Did you do all those Koala customs on ebay as well? Nope, this is our 1st Koala. I've always wanted to try one ever since I saw the idea, but I can never get the heads back on after I pulled them off. Any tips on that part. Heads: Use a blow dryer to heat 'em up first. It's still a little difficult, but much easier. Some heads won't fit certain bodies. If the head sits too high, you'll need to dremel the hole deeper. If the head is too loose, you'll need to put a little Apoxie Sculpt in the hole. I want to try the head on a panda body Great idea.

So heating it up will make it easier to push into the body?
Thanks for the tips.

Bat: I use Google Images to brainstorm a lot. I've wanted to make a bat, but didn't know which head to use. My daughters and I were googling pix of real bats and Lex, 6, said that the nose looked like a pig's nose. Done and done. Mike took a small plastic bat toy and cut the wings and a thin strip of the back off. Cut the wings off of an LPS bird (I think the blue bird that comes with the monkey) and super glued the bat wings onto it's back. The fangs are shaped using plastic alligator spikes and an x-acto blade, then super glued on.

Queen Ant and Worker Ant: Queen Ant: Used a butterfly, of course. Removed the antenna's and replaced them so they faced foward. Cut off the wings, and super glued the wings of a Marvel Hero-Clix Wasp figure onto the back. Worker Ant: Cut the back 2 legs off of the caterpillar to make him have 6 legs. Dremmeled a small hole in the bottom and super glued a Magnetix magnet in.
